Stay at Home Summer Bucket List

I wanted to create a bucket list for all of us that are unable to go out this summer. I recently spent some time in an adorable little cabin in the woods and did partake in a couple of these activities. I have to say, it was nice being unplugged for awhile.

I love going on nature walks. While my husband and I were away this past weekend, I feel like all we did was walk around the state parks near where we were staying. What is great about nature trails is that you don't necessarily need to walk, you can take a bike too!

I love building a campfire during the summer. I am always cold by nature, so I love doing this on warm summer nights because I know I won't get cold. You can also roast marshmallows on campfires, and I think that is reason enough to have one!

I love eating ice cream during the summer. I am one of those weirdos that will only eat it when it is warmer outside. And I know you were wondering - my favorite flavor is mint chocolate chip!

I think I've said this before, but one of my favorite activities is planting flowers when the temperatures get warmer. It is something that I learned from my Mom and Grandma that I hope to continue for a really long time!

What is better than eating outside with a loved one? NOTHING! We packed a couple of picnic lunches this weekend and I swear food tastes better in the outdoors.

I know, catching fireflies seems like something that only children would do, but I would seriously reconsider doing this as an adult. I love watching fireflies at night. They seem to just light up my entire backyard during the summer, almost making it look it it is on fire.

I know this summer is really going to be weird for the most of us. Spending less time with our friends and family, distancing ourselves from strangers, and not being able to do the fun activities that we are used to. I hope this list helps you create a fun summer for you and your loved ones!
