After getting June’s box, I was really excited to see what July would bring.
This month’s box included:
1 Copic Ciao in Lavender
2 SketchBox Signature Brush markers in Coral Reef and Blush
1 Spectrum Noir TriBlend in Light Green
1 Spectrum Noir Metallic Silver
1 Edding I340 Brush Pen in Black
Strathmore 4x6 Marker Pad
In this month’s box I got a medium that I have never worked with before - alcohol based markers. This was completely out of my comfort zone, so I was really excited to try them out. The artist for this month, Janice Rago inspired me with her bold patterns and simple line drawing of a flower. Instead of doing a floral this time, I decided to do another favorite of mine, succulents. Good thing this box came with a lot of paper meant for these types of markers because it took me awhile to get these designs finished.

I didn’t use the Spectrum Noir TriBlend marker for my final pieces but I did play around with it and it is a fun marker. It makes blending super easy, even for a beginner like me!
Stay tuned to my Instagram account (@unlockedcolors) to see what I come up with using that marker. Any suggestions, let me know!
Until next month folks!
