If you follow me on Instagram (@unlockedcolors) then you know that a couple of weeks ago I was really under the weather. Whoever has had the stomach bug can feel me!
After day 4 of feeling that absolute crap, I decided to do something nice for myself and have a nice long soak in the tub. All I wanted was some sugar scrub, but of course I was all out.
Luckily I had all the items I needed to make some! Ladies, this is the easiest recipe ever. All I used was some plain old white sugar, coconut oil (you can use others of course but I really like the way the coconut oil moisturizes my skin) and any type of scents or flavors you want. I had some lemons in my fridge along with some eucalyptus oil so that is the combination that I used, but the variations are endless.
Just melt the oil, mix with the sugar and add your scents or flavors. THAT IS IT!! It lasts about two weeks in a container with a lid and let me tell you it does wonders for your skin.

I hope you use this recipe and treat yourselves. It is such an simple way to practice self care, which I know personally is so hard for me.
Check out my Instagram for Self Care Wednesday. I share tips and other great ideas about how to practice self care.
As always, if you try out this recipe use #unlockedcolors so I can see what you are up to!
