DIY Bedroom Painting

I finally redid my bedroom after talking about it for months! My husband has been a champ dealing with my need to have everything perfect. We have been together almost 11 years and have never bought our own bedroom furniture. Everything was handed down to us by friends and family.
We decided on a color scheme (gray and white), bought the furniture and accessories and put everything together. I thought we were done, until I noticed a blank wall.
A normal person would have bought some wall art at the store and hung it up. Simple right?
Wrong.
I am an artist, I can’t do simple things. I had these poster frames that I got from cleaning out an old office and thought to myself ‘one day, I can do something with these' and kept them in the back of my closet. Well one day finally came!
I bought some poster board and went to town.

I knew that I wanted something with leaves, because I am a crazy plant lady and the majority of the color in my room comes from the twenty something plants I have in there. I doodled on a piece of paper what I wanted first, before going big. I love doodling, it is my favorite thing in the world to do, but enlarging those images was actually pretty hard.

After messing up a couple of times I really love how everything came out. I have some cute pieces of art in my bedroom that are truly one of a kind, and it only cost me $5 in poster board!
